WHY VFP?

Ventilators for Pakistan (VFP) was established in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic with the primary aim to provide essential medical equipment to the health care facilities in Pakistan. Your generous donations and support have enabled our not-for-profit organization to supply state of the art ventilators and personnel protective equipment (PPE) to frontline healthcare workers across the country. Now, we have evolved into a multidimensional organization having changed our goals and objectives to meet the healthcare demands of Pakistan.

Success Stories

June 17:

We donated our 5th ventilator to Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammad Abad, Faisalabad. Dr Ejaz Medical Superintendent, Dr Hannan Deputy Medical Superintendent,

Dr Khalid Mahmood Naz ICU Consultant and Dr Qamar Raza Medical Consultant of GGH, received the ventilator. We want to thank our donor who donated the complete amount for this Hamilton Galileo Gold Ventilator.

June 16:

Donated our 4th ventilator to Civil Hospital Karachi, Dow University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Safia Zafar Siddiqui, Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Dr. Zarnaz Wahid, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Principal Dow International Medical College were there to receive the ventilator.

May 16:

Donated our 3rd Ventilator to Saidu Group of Teaching Hospitals in Swat. It gives us great pleasure to have answered their request by providing a ventilator to the hospital, a refurbished Drager Evita 2 Dura. Dr. M. Naeem Awan, Medical Superintendent of Saidu Teaching Hospital, Swat received the ventilator today, on behalf of his team.

June 27:

Donated our 7th Ventilator to Gulab Devi Chest Hospital, Lahore to help them in the treatment of Covid positive patients who unfortunately develop complications and need a ventilator to survive. Thank you for your generosity, we couldn’t have done it without you!

June 17:

We donated our 6th ventilator to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad.
Dr Waseem Khawaja, Additional Director, PIMS and Dr Fazal Rabbi, Registrar COVID-19 Ward, PIMS received the ventilator.
We want to thank all our donors for their contribution in helping us expand PIMS’ critical care capacity.

June 16:

April 18:

We are delighted to inform our members, donors and volunteers that we have been successful in procuring a refurbished Evita 4, Drager ventilator along with fifty N95 8210 masks and fifty non woven GSM international standard Hazmat suits with head and foot covers.
All of the equipment was donated to The Holy Family hospital, Rawalpindi.
